We have confirmed at least 3 employees have lost their family homes to the Bastrop County Wildfires and many (exact number is unknown as things are changing quickly) are displaced with no indication as to when they might be able to return. Still more have not been allowed back into their neighborhoods to check on if their home was burned.
We have established a donation account at First National Bank of Bastrop into which our clients and friends may contribute financial donations, and which will directly support our staff and their families who are suffering during this catastrophic time.
Donations may be sent to:

We are also accepting donations of household goods, including: furniture; kitchen appliances and supplies; toiletries, blankets, linens, and towels; televisions; clocks; office and school supplies; and the various other accessories that make a house into a home. We are also looking for toys/games appropriate for an 7 year old boy and 5 year old girl.
There is a huge amount of donated clothes currently available in Bastrop, so we are not requesting any clothes donations at this time.
The foundry has brought a “Pod” on site to store these material donations until the employees can figure out where they are going to live, so if you have things that make sense, please let us know and we will coordinate getting them from you and protecting them until the families are ready.
Anything you can do to help would be greatly appreciated!
